Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

PrepMonster (prepmonster.net) provides free, browser-based Amazon product validation tools that work with Helium 10 CSV/XLSX exports. Contact: info@prepmonster.net.

PrepMonster is an independent third-party tool and is not owned or endorsed by Helium 10 or Google.

2. Summary

• Most analysis stays on your device. Xray Criteria, Search Volume, and Keyword Analysis process export files in your browser.
• Google sign-in is optional for account identity and signed-in tools such as Detailed X-Ray Intelligence.
• Optional AI insight (Search Volume) sends a compact summary to our API — not your full chart file.
• Detailed X-Ray sends your export to our secure API while you are signed in so we can compute the dashboard.

3. Information we collect

3.1 Google sign-in

If you choose Continue with Google, we use Supabase Auth with Google OAuth. We receive basic account identity from Google, typically including your name, email address, and profile picture. We use this to recognize you across PrepMonster tools, show your account in the header, and authorize signed-in features.

We do not use Google sign-in to access your Gmail, Drive, or other Google services beyond the basic profile scopes needed for authentication.

3.2 Helium 10 export files

For Xray Criteria Analyzer, Search Volume Analyzer, and Keyword Analysis, CSV/XLSX files are read and analyzed in your browser. Those tools do not upload your full export file to PrepMonster for the core analysis.

For Detailed X-Ray Intelligence (signed-in), your export is sent to our API so we can compute market, revenue, seller, and brand intelligence. We store usage metadata such as user id, keyword, marketplace, filename, and request status to operate the feature and prevent overlapping unfinished runs. We do not keep the computed dashboard payloads as a permanent product database.

3.3 Optional AI insight

If you use Get AI Insight on Search Volume and enter the required passphrase, PrepMonster sends a compact summary JSON to our API for processing with an AI provider. We do not send the full multi-year chart export in that request.

3.4 Device storage

We use browser storage (such as localStorage) for preferences like theme and to keep your signed-in session working.

3.5 Analytics and advertising pixels

Our marketing pages may use Google Analytics, Ahrefs Analytics, and Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand traffic and measure campaigns. These services may set cookies or similar technologies and collect device / usage information according to their own policies.

4. How we use information

• Provide and improve PrepMonster tools
• Authenticate users and protect signed-in endpoints
• Operate Detailed X-Ray Intelligence and optional AI insight
• Understand site usage and marketing performance
• Respond to support emails you send us

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Service providers

We rely on trusted processors to run PrepMonster, including:

• Vercel — website and API hosting
• Supabase — authentication and related account / usage logging
• Google — OAuth sign-in, and Analytics where enabled
• OpenAI — optional AI insight processing
• Ahrefs / Meta — analytics or advertising measurement where enabled

These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

6. Data retention

Account identity remains while your PrepMonster / Supabase account exists. Detailed X-Ray usage logs are kept as needed to operate the product and abuse controls. Browser-local analysis data remains on your device until you clear it. You can sign out at any time from the site header.

7. Your choices

• Use browser-only tools without signing in
• Sign out to end the active session on that browser
• Skip optional AI insight
• Control cookies / tracking via your browser settings and vendor opt-outs where available
• Email info@prepmonster.net to ask about access or deletion of account-related data we control

8. Children

PrepMonster is intended for business users and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. International users

PrepMonster is operated with infrastructure that may process data in the United States or other countries where our providers run services. If you use the site from elsewhere, you understand your information may be processed in those locations.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of PrepMonster after an update means you accept the revised policy.
